Vallejo is Real Madrid’s only injured player ahead of El Clasico against Barcelona

Real Madrid completed a solid performance during their home game against Alaves yet the most important thing for them was to avoid any kind of injury now that they will be visiting both FC Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid this week.

That leaves central defender Jesus Vallejo as the only player in Madrid’s injury report, although it’s also true that some men like Kroos, Asensio, Marcelo or even Gareth Bale could be at 100% after spending quite some time on the sidelines recently.

On the other hand, Barcelona’s coaching staff doesn’t know if Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi will be available next Wednesday, meaning that Madrid might actually catch a break there. Valverde will probably talk about this matter during Tuesday’s press conference, although he might not actually reveal the status of these two players.

All things considered, coach Santiago Solari will have to make some interesting decisions this Wednesday. If Vazquez stays in the starting lineup, either Vinicius or Bale will be dropped, something which could have a big impact in the game.
