Real Madrid published a medical report on Marcos Llorente, who had to leave Wednesday’s El Clasico against Barcelona with a groin injury.

This appears to be a fairly serious injury for the midfielder, who could miss at least the following month recovering. Llorente was a nice option for Santiago Solari as he was performing very well when he first got injured after the Club World Cup. Luckily enough for Los Blancos, Casemiro is healthy, although he will have to improve his form.
Llorente will likely return for the final third of the season. Real Madrid will need him if they keep advancing in the Champions League, as he’s a player who adds a lot of depth to the squad.
