Real Madrid published their squad list for Saturday’s Madrid Derby against Atletico de Madrid.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Navas, Courtois, Altube.
Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Reguilón.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, Asensio, Ceballos.
Forwards: Mariano, Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez, Vinicius Jr.
Isco won’t be available with an issue on his back and Llorente is recovering from the groin injury he picked up last Wednesday. It’s clear that Atletico’s players will be on much fresher legs than Real Madrid’s given that they did not play a game midweek, so Los Blancos might need to find a way to survive this one.
Solari is not expected to make many rotations here because of the importance of every Madrid Derby. Furthermore, Los Blancos cut Barça’s lead down to eight points last weekend so they have to put some more pressure on their side and see if they can still compete for La Liga title.
