Solari’s last game?

Real Madrid visit Valladolid as Los Blancos hope to bounce back from the extremely discouraging week that knocked them out of the Copa del Rey and the Champions League. The losses against Barcelona and Ajax all but finished the season for Madrid, whose only duty now is to secure their presence in next year’s edition of the Champions League.

This could be Santiago Solari’s last game coaching Real Madrid, as Los Blancos could sack him this Monday, according to reports from Spain. Still, it’s not clear who the board will name as his replacement, so Solari could still hope to stay in the club at least until the end of the season.

Madrid will be without Bale, Vinicius, Vazquez, Carvajal and Ramos and Brahim Diaz could feature in the starting lineup alongside Benzema and Asensio. This should be a manageable game for Los Blancos as Valladolid have been mediocre this season, but it’s also true that it won’t be easy for Madrid to recover from the recent defeats.
