Reports from MARCA, COPE and La Sexta say that Los Blancos will not try to sign the attacker this summer.

MARCA, La Sexta and Cadena COPE all reacted in the same way to France Football’s report saying that Real Madrid were going to offer €280 million for Mbappe. These three outlets state that Mbappe will not be a target for Madrid this summer.

“We won’t make an offer for Mbappe” is MARCA’s headline in Tuesday’s front page, adding that Los Blancos ruled out the possibility of signing the attacker next summer and will be focusing on Sadio Mane and Eden Hazard instead.

“Real Madrid deny a €280 million offer for Mbappe,” reported COPE last night, while La Sexta also said that Los Blancos will not go after Mbappe next summer through a tweet from one of their main journalists, Jose Luis Sanchez.

All things considered, it definitely seems that Real Madrid do not want to spend that much money on a single player. They could wait until Mbappe’s contract with PSG is about to expire if he keeps showing potential, but right now it’s fairly clear that Los Blancos will focus on other players.
