Brazilian attacker Rodrygo Goes, who will officially become a Real Madrid player next summer, will stay in the club as he’s currently in Zinedine Zidane’s plans, according to a report from MARCA.
There were doubts concerning Rodrygo’s immediate future, as he could’ve been sent on a loan deal if Real Madrid felt like he needed more minutes to get a somewhat relevant role with the first team next season. Still, it now looks like the club will be willing to find him the minutes he needs to develop and reach the potential he has.
This very same thing happened with Marco Asensio and Vinicius Junior. They were very young and so many fans and analysts thought that a loan deal was going to be the best scenario for them, yet they somehow managed to get minutes and a relevant role in the squad.
Rodrygo is 18 years old, so he will still need quite some time to get used to the football played in La Liga.
