Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho is “almost 100% certain to return to Real Madrid,” according to a report from British newspaper The Telegraph.

“Sources have told Telegraph Sport that the club is “almost 100 per cent” sure it can bring back Mourinho. [...] Solari is expected to see out the remainder of this campaign, even though Mourinho is out of work at present. Neither he nor other big-name coaches would want to take over during the season.

Earlier today La Sexta reported that Real Madrid want to replace Santiago Solari now and that they have reached former coach Zinedine Zidane, who would like to wait until the summer. It definitely looks like Solari will leave the club after the three straight losses that ended Real Madrid’s chances of winning a trophy this season.

Mourinho coached Real Madrid for three seasons and won La Liga and the Copa del Rey during his tenure in the Spanish capital.
