Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and CEO Jose Angel Sanchez are making a decision on coach Santiago Solari’s future in a meeting at the Santiago Bernabeu, according to a report from MARCA and Libertad Digital.

Apparently, both Sanchez and Perez would be keen on sacking Solari but they’d have to name a replacement until the end of the season. The main candidates to coach Real Madrid from now on would be Zidane, Mourinho, Pochettino, Klopp or Allegri but not a single one of those coaches would accept to coach the team for the next two months given that the club just has nothing to play for.

Former Real Madrid attacker Hugo Sanchez has admitted that he would take the job even if it’s only for a few months, but his lack of reputation as a manager is an issue for Perez and Sanchez.

“I’ve always been willing to contribute in my home. Florentino Perez knows it, I’ve told him. I can contribute when he wants me to,” said Hugo Sanchez to ESPN.

Solari’s days in Real Madrid are numbered and it looks like he might not coach the team next Sunday.
