Raul de Tomas scores brilliant goal against Barcelona, Lunin saves penalty

It was a good day for Real Madrid players on loan Raul de Tomas and Andriy Lunin, even though both Rayo Vallecano and Leganes lost their games. De Tomas scored Rayo Vallecano’s only goal at the Camp Nou —gave them the lead— in brilliant fashion and proved that he could play a role in Real Madrid if Los Blancos decide to keep him past next summer.

Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin got a rare start for Leganes as starting goalkeeper Pichu Cuellar is suspended. Lunin managed to save a penalty for his team but unluckily enough he ended up conceding right after that save.

Both Lunin and Real Madrid probably thought that the Ukrainian keeper was going to be starting for Leganes when Los Blancos decided to send him on loan. Now, Lunin will probably have to find a new club next summer given that he won’t be able to play for Real Madrid.
