Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi, who is spending the season in Dortmund on a loan deal, will miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury he picked up this past Saturday against Wolfsburg. X-Rays revealed that Achraf suffered a fracture and will therefore have surgery in Madrid.
Achraf could need at least two or three months in order to recover from this injury, meaning that his pre-season could also be cut short if if takes him a bit longer to get completely cleared to play.
His future for next season is not certain just yet although it seems that he might play for Dortmund one more season before Real Madrid make a final decision about his career. He has definitely shown the potential he has and his ability to play on both wings could be very helpful for Madrid down the road if he can keep performing well next year.
