Bale “happy, not thinking about return to England,” says agent

Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale might be on his way out of the club next summer yet his agent Jonathan Barnett refuses to consider a move away from the Spanish capital.

“He’s very happy and he’s a Real Madrid player. He’s not thinking about a return to England but I can’t predict the future,” said Barnett to reporters from Cuatro. Madrid would be willing to include the Welshman in any potential deal involving Paul Pogba, according to reports from Spain.

Bale was jeered by the fans at the Santiago Bernabeu during the past game against Eibar. There’s no doubt that Bale is still a quality player who could make an impact in the club, but his injuries usually keep him out of the team for quite some time throughout the season.

It definitely seems that Bale could be joining the Premier League next season, but it will be interesting to see how much money the British clubs will be willing to spend.
