Real Madrid won’t sell Gareth Bale for less than €130 million, according to a report from AS. Bale’s agent has said many times that the player is happy in Spain, but it seems that he could be on his way to the Premier League next summer.
Although it’s clear that Real Madrid might want to part ways with Bale, that price will most likely be too high for the Welshman. British clubs have the money to complete such a deal, but will they be willing to spend it on a player like Bale, whose value has decreased quite a lot over the last few seasons?
Knowing how hard it will be to sell Bale for that kind of money, Madrid could include him in potential deals for Paul Pogba or Christian Eriksen, who appear to be on their radar for the upcoming transfer window. It’s never easy to get those swap deals done, so Los Blancos might need to lower their expectations and accept that no club will spend €130 million to sign Bale.
