Real Madrid wonder kid Vinicius Junior is about to recover from the injury he picked up during the return leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Ajax. The attacker has talked to GloboTV and shared some interesting thoughts about Zinedine Zidane.

“When a guy like him who played so well is sitting on the bench and talks about anything you just have to pay close attention, right? Sometimes we get a bit nervous when we go to talk to him but he does everything he can so that the players can focus on their job,” said Vinicius, who still hasn’t made his debut under Zidane.

The Brazilian sensation earned a spot in the starting lineup when Solari was in charge and will try to do that very same thing now that Zidane is the coach.

“I know he gives minutes to everyone. Right now we’re focusing on the next season but I’m calm because I know that I will get a chance to play when I complete my recovery,” he concluded.

Vinicius is expected to return to the team very soon. Reports from Spain even indicate that he would be willing to play this next weekend, although it seems that Zidane and the doctors will take on a more cautious approach given that there’s no need to rush Vinicius back.
