Real Madrid published a medical report about defender Alvaro Odriozola, who fractured his collarbone in training.

Per Realmadrid.com

Following tests carried out today on Álvaro Odriozola by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he’s been diagnosed with a fracture of his left clavicle. His recovery will be monitored.

Odriozola could need to have surgery to repair his collarbone and would therefore miss the rest of the season.

The young defender has played well this year and seems to be set to become a relevant player for Madrid next season, especially if Carvajal can't improve his form. Real Madrid spent €40 million to sign him away from Real Sociedad and so far it seems that it was a good move for them. However, Odriozola still has room for improvement, especially on defense. His speed off the ball makes him a very valuable player offensively for Los Blancos.
