Real Madrid want to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and have already met with his agents to see the kind of contract and project he’d like in case Madrid were willing to make an offer, according to a report from Spanish newspaper AS.

It definitely looks like Madrid will try to add some depth to their midfield as they are set to part ways with both Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos. Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has also been on Madrid’s radar and Ndombele would be a good option if Los Blancos can’t complete a deal for United’s star.

Ndombele is 22 years old and would also be in Juventus and Manchester United’s list. He’s under contract until the summer of 2023 and has played a brilliant season for Lyon, although it’s clear that he might need some more time and experience to become a regular starter in elite clubs.

AS doesn’t even mention the potential prize Real Madrid would need to pay, so it seems that they’re just paying close attention to Ndombele right now.
