Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane missed Tuesday’s training session with the flu.

Per Realmadrid.com
Varane was suffering from the flu and carried out running exercises away from the group.

Both Marcos Llorente and Carvajal were able to complete the training session with the rest of their teammates and it looks like both of them will be available when Real Madrid take on Leganes next Monday.

Varane should also be able to recover in time and train with the squad later this week, although coach Zinedine Zidane could also decide to give him some rest for that game as the French coach has been making rotations lately.

Vinicius Junior and Courtois are still injured and will need more time to get ready and feature in a competitive game, although reports suggest that this season is not over for them and that they should have time to recover properly from their injuries.
