Karim Benzema completed Friday’s training session with the rest of Real Madrid’s squad and seems ready to play when the team visit Real Sociedad this Sunday. Benzema has missed the last few games with an injury.
The French striker has arguably been Real’s best player this season but there’s no need to rush him back now that the team has nothing to play for other than a bit of pride. Still, Benzema offers so much that Zidane will most likely use him as soon as he’s completely ready to play, given how well he’s performed this season and the number of goals he’s scored after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Odriozola are now Real Madrid’s only injured players and it seems that both of them might not play again this season. The two defenders should have more than enough time to recover properly before the start of the pre-season.
