Luka Jovic's signing for Real Madrid could be announced next week, according to AS. Los Blancos have already reached an agreement with both the attacker and Eintracht Frankfurt, but the German club wants to wait until the end of the current Bundesliga season given that they are still competing for a spot in the Champions League.
Real Madrid will spend around €70 million for the signing of Jovic, who is still 21 years old and has plenty of room for improvement. The attacker has completed a brilliant season for Frankfurt but will be expected to come off the bench next year, especially given how brilliantly Benzema has performed this season.
Having almost secured the signing of Jovic, Real Madrid will then try to complete a deal for Eden Hazard, who seems to be on his way out of Chelsea. Those two players are Madrid's main targets for the upcoming transfer window but Los Blancos might still sign a midfielder next.
It will be interesting to see how far can Jovic go, even if he will surely need some time to adapt to La Liga.
