The rumors suggesting that Real Madrid will sign Jovic this summer are definitely gaining some traction and it definitely seems that he currently has the edge over other potential strikers Real Madrid might be interested in.
Eintracht want to get at least €70 million to let Jovic go, according to several reports from the Spanish press. Madrid, on the other hand, will try to decrease that prize to €50 million.
Jovic is still young and has completed some impressive performances for Eintracht this year. He would be Benzema’s backup unless Zidane decides to play with two strikers. Still, Madrid will need to give Jovic consistent minutes so that he can develop properly.
This is a transfer which would make sense for Los Blancos given Jovic’s potential and age combined with his current skill set.
