Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now playing for Juventus, talked to Spanish newspaper El Pais and revealed that he's often told to make his return to the Spanish capital whenever he visits the city.
"I always walk with pride because I know people loves me and I know that I've given a lot to the club while the club also gave me plenty of things as well. When I call through the streets in Madrid people tell me to return because it's my home and I like to hear that," said Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star also talked about how he faces criticism.
"They are always judging me and saying that I'm done and that I should quit, but you always want to surprise them so that they see that the beast is still here," he added.
Ronaldo left Real Madrid last summer after Juventus decided to spend €100 million to sign him. He had been requesting a contract extension for a while and ultimately asked the club to leave.
