Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has decided to hire famous agent Jorge Mendes in order to find a new team next summer, according to a report from AS. Mendes has not always been Navas' agent but the goalkeeper contacted him last winter, per that same report.
Even though Zidane has given Navas chances to play, it looks like Real Madrid will try to sell the goalkeeper in order to keep the younger and recently signed Thibaut Courtois, if reports from the Spanish press are accurate.
Navas has been a crucial player for Real Madrid in every single one of their Champions League three-peats but he is not getting any younger and Los Blancos seem ready to part ways with him after spending €35 million to sign Courtois last summer.
Coach Zidane has said in recent press conferences that things will be "very clear" about the starting goalkeeper next season, meaning that they will likely move one of their current two keepers.
It might not be easy for Mendes nor Madrid to find a new team for Navas, given his age. Some other teams could be skeptical as the goalkeeper lacks the reputation -not the quality- of some other big names.
