Real Madrid are preparing a €120 million offer to complete the signing of Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard, according to a report from British newspaper The Telegraph. Hazard confirmed that he will be leaving his current club right after conquering the Europa League last Wednesday and his signing for Madrid appears to be imminent.

Hazard’s deal with Chelsea expires in 2020, which means that Los Blancos could be overpaying a bit if they finally end up spending €120 million to sign the winger, especially if we consider that he could join the team as a free agent in just 12 months.

However, Real Madrid need to sign quality players this summer after the disastrous season they just completed, so president Florentino Perez will most likely be forced to meet Chelsea’s demands.

The Belgian player will be expected to lead Real Madrid’s offensive line next season alongside Karim Benzema. He’s a very productive player who could fit nicely in Zidane’s attacking system.
