Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba delivered some intriguing quotes during an interview in Tokyo, where he suggested that he wants a move out of Manchester.
“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well ... I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else. I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else,” said Pogba to the reporters.
The French midfielder is reportedly on Real Madrid’s radar this summer and while a move for him could be very expensive, Pogba might be trying to force his way out of Manchester United.
“Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well. For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else,” he added.
If these quotes don’t work, Pogba could also hand in a transfer request. Juventus appear to be interested in signing the French midfielder, although Madrid might have the edge here if they’re willing to spend close to €150 million.
