Real Madrid and AC Milan met in the Spanish capital to discuss the potential transfer of Dani Ceballos, Borja Mayoral and Martin Odegaard. Although those three players are reportedly in Milan’s shortlist, Ceballos is the one who has received the most interest from the Italian club.

Milan director of football Paolo Maldini told Sky Sport that the meeting “went well” and also that he is “excited of what’s to come for this Milan.”

Real Madrid desperately need to offload some of their players and those three are clearly for sale as they are not in Zinedine Zidane’s plans. All things considered, Madrid should not be expecting to get a lot of money for those three players, especially if they intend to keep an option to buy them back —as they should, given their age and potential—. A

ll three of them need minutes to develop and reach their potential and won’t get them in the Spanish capital, so a move to a quality team like Milan makes sense.
