Vinicius: “Mbappe’s future is in Real Madrid”

Real Madrid wonder kid Vinicius Jr. talked to French TV show Telefoot and delivered some intriguing quotes about Kylian Mbappe, who has been rumored to be in Madrid’s radar for the last two summers.

“Everyone sees him here. Mbappe’s future is in Real Madrid, I think he will join the club soon. I’m sure that we would win many things together,” said Vinicius when asked about the Frenchman.

“We don’t know each other but we talk through Instagram, we send each other messages. I admire him a lot, he’s won many things already. It’d be unbelievable to have him with us in Real Madrid,” he added.

PSG president Nasr Al Khelaifi won’t be happy about Vinicius’ quotes. Al Khelaifi has always stated that PSG will keep Mbappe no matter the cost, so Real Madrid will have a tough time trying to sign the attacker even if he actually tries to force his way out. PSG don’t need the money and Mbappe is their most promising player, meaning that Florentino Perez will need to prepare a lot of money if Mbappe is indeed a target.

On the other hand, it will be interesting to see Vinicius’ role next season after the arrival of Eden Hazard. He played very well when given the chance last season but might need to work hard for a spot in the starting lineup.
