Real Madrid attacking midfielder James Rodriguez talked to the press after Colombia’s 1-0 win against Paraguay in the Copa America and revealed that he is almost certainly going to leave the club this summer.

“I’m only thinking about the Copa America now, I don’t know where I’ll be going, I want to stay calm. This decision depends on the club, I think there are some in Madrid who are in charge and I can’t do anything about it,” said a resigned James.

“I have not talked with Zidane,” he added when asked about the Frenchman.

James is reportedly on his way to Napoli, where he will reunite with his former coach Carlo Ancelotti. Napoli and Madrid are trying to complete a deal for the midfielder as Los Blancos want to get some decent money for him in order to increase their budget and sign some more players this summer.

James spent the last two seasons in Bayern Munich, where he disappointed a bit as the German club decided not to trigger their option to buy the midfielder for €40 million.
