Real Madrid released their 2019 - 2020 away kit yesterday. Have you seen it? (Of course you have, it’s the header photo for this article.) It’s beautiful. Instead of a black away kit like they’ve had in the past, this season, Real Madrid has opted for a navy kit with a water-like pattern on it and gold accents that match the Home kit. The font is a standard Varsity Block Letter font which is a vast improvement over the 2018/19 kit. I realize that some of you might not agree with me here, or care about the font really, but it was just not an aesthetically pleasing choice last year, which was the whole reason that I didn’t purchase one.
They’ve added a touch of black in the bands around the base of the sleeves and I’m definitely a fan of that choice. While I didn’t get a kit this past season, you better believe I’m getting one for this upcoming season. The only question I have left now is – whose kit to get?
