Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos talked to the press after Spain U21’s win against France in the U21 Euro Semifinals. Ceballos is almost certainly on his way out of the club as he tries to get crucial minutes to keep developing as a player.

“I don’t want to be sold, we can only guess what’s going to happen. I want to enjoy and be relevant, no matter where that is. I have plenty of football inside of me and I believe next season will be my best year,” said Ceballos, whose value is increasing during the tournament.

“I just want to play and have fun. I wanted to prove my worth, this year hasn’t been a great season for me and I just wanted things to go right,” he added.

Real Madrid won’t sell Ceballos for less than €50 million while the player wants to leave on a loan deal so that he can return to the team in the future, according to reports from the Spanish press. He clearly has the potential to be a relevant player for Madrid in the future, so Los Blancos should try to include a buyback clause if they finally decide to sell him.
