Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz —who is reportedly on Real Madrid’s radar— has been named the Most Valuable Player of the U21 Euro Spain conquered today with a 2-1 win against Germany. Fabian scored Spain’s opening goal in the Final and completed an impressive tournament, leading the Spanish team alongside Dani Ceballos.
Fabian’s tournament has made him an interesting target for Real Madrid but unluckily enough for Los Blancos it looks like Napoli would like to get around €90 million for the young midfielder. It’s true that Madrid and the Italian side must reach some kind of agreement over the transfer of James Rodriguez, though, so Los Blancos could ultimately try to find a way to sign Fabian this summer.
Fabian has a lot of potential but it’s hard to imagine him becoming an undisputed starter for Real Madrid this next season, so Florentino Perez might decide to make that kind of effort for a galactico like Paul Pogba instead.
