Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola talked to the team’s official website and shared his thoughts on the current pre-season, which started just this week in the training camp taking place in Montreal.
“I’m very happy about training with the squad. The past two months were tough for me because I couldn’t help the team. Now I’m happy because I recovered well and my collarbone is perfect,” said Odriozola about the injury he picked up during the last few weeks of the season.
“We have a very good feeling, we’re working well. The players are very excited and motivated, I see the team hungry and willing to face the challenges ahead of us. We have new challenges and the team will give their very best to make the fans happy,” added the defender.
This will be Odriozola’s second season in the club and he’s looking forward to improving the performances he completed last year, which were fairly solid already.
“I’m excited and I want things to go well. We want to win every title we can which is the target for this club. Personally, I want to improve, give my all, deliver assists and hopefully score some goals as well. I hope this is a great season for us all,” concluded Odriozola.
