Mariano Diaz rejects 10 offers to leave Real Madrid -report

Real Madrid attacker Mariazo Diaz doesn’t want to leave the club and has rejected at least 10 offers from other clubs, according to a report from AS. Madrid would like to sell the player now that they’ve signed Luka Jovic but Mariano still wants to compete for a spot with Benzema and the Serbian striker, per that same report.

Teams like Roma, Milan and Tottenham are interested in signing Mariano, who completed a brilliant 2017-2018 season with Lyon before returning to Real Madrid last year. He didn’t get many chances to make an impact and Benzema was performing very well, so Mariano will be hoping to get more minutes this season if he finally stays in the club.

Still, it’s clear that the attacker will be behind both Benzema and Jovic in Zidane’s rotation, so it would be good for him to find a club where he can actually get the minutes to develop as a player and prove that he can be relevant in elite football.
