Real Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez just passed his medical with AC Milan, as a picture from SkySport shows, and will confirm his move to the Italian club very soon, according to reports from Italy and Spain. Milan will pay €20 million for the young defender.

Theo appeared to be a very impressive talent after his season in Alaves and Real Madrid decided to sign him away from Atletico de Madrid for €24 million. His debut season for Madrid was extremely discouraging so the club decided to send the French defender to Real Sociedad on a loan deal so that he could play relevant minutes and develop as a player. However, he couldn’t even become an undisputed starter in Real Sociedad and Madrid have ultimately decided to part ways with him.

Los Blancos have not included any kind of buyback clause on their deal with Milan, meaning that they just want to move on. Furthermore, they signed French left-back Ferland Mendy, who will compete with Marcelo for the starting spot. Theo will try to resurrect his career in the Italian Serie A.
