Gareth Bale’s future will be far from Real Madrid. That much is clear after Zidane’s press conference where he said that “the sooner Bale leaves, the better,” and also after Jonathan Barnett’s quotes. Bale’s agent said that Zidane “is a disgrace and ungrateful.” Still, his next club is far from certain.
A report from AS and MARCA suggests that Bale has offers to join Jiangsu Suning and Beijing Guoan in the Chinese SuperLeague, even if those two clubs might not be able to pay a big transfer fee to sign the attacker. Bale would become the highest-paid player in the SuperLeague and that’s why he might leave European football.
Bale is still 30 years old and has fuel left in the tank to make an impact in elite leagues. However, it seems that he is not willing to take a salary cut in order to join a quality club and nobody in Europe is keen on offering him €20 million/year. All in all, the Welshman will need to make a decision very, very soon.
