Gareth Bale’s reported move to Jiangsu Suning could be ruled out because Bale’s family doesn’t want to live in China, according to a report from MARCA. The BBC also indicates that Real Madrid are demanding a transfer fee to let Bale go.
The transfer window in China will close in just three days and that leaves both Bale and Real Madrid in a tough spot, given that it would be very surprising to see him staying in the Spanish capital after the words exchanged between coach Zinedine Zidane and Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett.
Other clubs could be interested in Bale for next season, but the Welshman doesn’t want to take a salary cut and no club will match the €17 million/year contract he has with Madrid while also paying a transfer fee.
All in all, it’s extremely hard to predict what will happen with Bale, even more so after Asensio’s knee injury.
