Real Madrid have announced that striker Borja Mayoral will spend the 2019-2020 season playing for Levante on a year-long deal.

Real Madrid C. F. and Levante U. D. have reached an agreement over the loan of Borja Mayoral for the forthcoming season in a deal running until 30 June 2020.

Mayoral already played for Levante last season and did quite well. It makes sense for him to go to the same club once again as it seems that no bigger club is interested in his signing.

Real Madrid would ultimately want to sell the player as he’s 22 years old and it looks like he will never be ready to contribute consistently in the first team, but Levante did not include an option to buy the player and Madrid will find themselves in the same situation next year unless Mayoral manages to make a big impact in Levante.
