La Liga announced today the fixtures for the upcoming 2019-2020 season and revealed that the first Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid will be played at the Camp Nou on October 27th. That means that Madrid will host Barça on the second —and potentially decisive— match between these two teams.
The Spanish competition will kick off on August 18th when Madrid visit Celta in what should be a fairly tough game for Los Blancos. The Madrid Derbies between Atletico and Real Madrid have also been announced. Real will visit Simeone’s side on September 29th.
Real Madrid will be looking forward to this new Liga season as they have upgraded their squad. Furthermore, coach Zinedine Zidane has publicly said that he would like his team to compete for the title after the past two campaigns where the team failed to meet expectations in the domestic competition.
Real Madrid, Atletico de Madrid and Barcelona will all make some more improvements during this transfer window and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top a year from now.
