Jose Luis Sanchez, a well known Spanish journalist for La Sexta, Marca, and El Chiringuito among other outlets, has reported that Neymar and his family are insistent upon a move to Real Madrid. JLS further reports that Madrid will try to sign Neymar in the coming days. Los Blancos have not yet submitted an offer for a player, but personal terms have been agreed and the player wants to join the club. PSG would prefer to sell to Real Madrid over Barcelona because of their strong relationship as opposed to the former with whom there is long standing bad-blood.

The key to the signing was Zinedine Zidane’s blessing. The Frenchman has now apparently given his OK after the club failed to sign Paul Pogba. Zidane believes both Neymar and Hazard can co-exist in his new look Real Madrid squad. Neymar himself came out earlier this year claiming he wanted to one day play with Hazard, something that soon could become reality.

Barcelona are still heavily linked with the Brazilian and will fight for his signature until the last minute. Again, there poor relationship with PSG should give Madrid the edge. Wherever the Brazilian ends up, it will surely be the transfer of the summer.
