Real Madrid published their squad list for Sunday’s match against Roma in the Italian capital. Surprisingly enough, Gareth Bale will travel with the team after the transfer window in the Premier League closed last Thursday, meaning that quite possibly the Welshman will end up staying in Madrid this season.

REAL MADRID SQUAD LIST:
Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Courtois and Toni Fuidias.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Odriozola.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde and Isco.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez, Jović and Vinicius Jr.

Apart from Bale’s return, it’s significant to note that James Rodriguez will not be with the squad even though he’s ready to play. It definitely looks like the Colombian playmaker will have to find a new club.

Sergio Ramos will rest during this game in order to be ready for the season debut next Saturday, which will give Militao a good chance to start alongside Varane in the center of Madrid’s defensive line.
