CONFIRMED lineups: Real Madrid vs Roma, 2019 preseason

Real Madrid published their starting lineup for the upcoming preseason match against Roma, which will be the last before the start of the 2019-2020 season next weekend at Balaidos against Celta.

This is a 5-3-2 for Madrid once again.

Real Madrid starting XI: Courtois; Nacho, Varane, Militao; Carvajal, Casemiro, Valverde, Modric, Marcelo; Hazard, Benzema.

Roma starting XI (To Be Confirmed): López; Florenzi, Mancini, Juan, Kolarov; Cristante, Diawara; Ünder, Zaniolo, Kluivert; Dzeko

As always, this is a match where Madrid should try to gain confidence and momentum, so coach Zinedine Zidane will most likely use the team he will start next Saturday. It will be interesting to see if Gareth Bale gets any minutes as it seems that the Welshman will stay in the Spanish capital for another year, given that the transfer window in the Premier League has already closed.
