Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have been battling to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar Jr. but it looks like Barça have the edge to complete the transfer, according to a report from El Chiringuito’s Josep Pedrerol.

“Barcelona would pay €100 million and would also include Coutinho in the deal. That’s Barça’s offer but PSG want more money, at least €150 million. Right now, Madrid are waiting. They told them that Neymar earns €38 million/year, that would be his salary while Ramos earns €12 million/year,” says Pedrerol.
“Madrid don’t have players to include in that deal because Bale is not on PSG’s radar. Barcelona could sign Neymar this week and Madrid will only get involved if they sell James, Bale and Mariano for €200 million. Right now, Barcelona are closer than ever,” he added.
If Real Madrid’s only chance of signing Neymar requires them to sell James, Bale and Mariano for €200 million combined, Los Blancos simply don’t stand a chance. The market value for those three players is nowhere close that kind of money, especially now that the transfer window in the Premier League has closed.
All in all, it looks like Madrid will face the upcoming season with the current roster.
