Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Valladolid

Real Madrid published the squad list for Saturday’s home match against Valladolid, their second of the 2019-2020 Liga season.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Courtois and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo.

Midfielders: Kroos, Casemiro, Valverde, James and Isco.

Attackers: Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez, Jović and Vinicius Jr.

Mendy and Odriozola didn't make the list. The French defender just recovered from a thigh injury and will need a few more weeks to improve his conditioning. Odriozola is just not needed when Carvajal is available given that Nacho and Militao can come off the bench as a right-back if something happens during the game.

On the other hand, Modric will miss the game with a suspension after being sent off last week while Brahim, Asensio and Rodrygo are still recovering from their injuries. Real Madrid are still trying to find a new club for Mariano, who didn’t make the list either.
