This is yet another muscle injury for Real Madrid’s players. James completed a solid performance on his return to the team after two seasons and could eventually compete for a starting spot on Real’s right wing. However, he will now miss the next few weeks with his calf injury, knowing that muscle injuries are always tricky.
James will surely miss Real Madrid’s trip to Villarreal this weekend and could return after the FIFA break, when Los Blancos host Levante at the Bernabeu on September 14th, although coach Zinedine Zidane will not rush him back.
