Real Madrid star Eden Hazard could not complete Tuesday’s training session with his teammates and it looks like he will miss Sunday’s away match against Villarreal, even though some reports indicated that he was going to be available as his recovery was going better than expected.

Attacker Mariano Diaz rejoined the squad but coach Zinedine Zidane will not use him this weekend as the club is trying to find a new club for him before the transfer window closes on September 2nd. Luka Jovic is now Madrid’s backup striker and that means that Mariano’s recovery will only make an impact on his potential move away from the Spanish capital.

Brahim, Rodrygo and James Rodriguez are still recovering from their injuries and will need at least two weeks before they can be available. Luckily enough for Madrid, the upcoming FIFA break will give them two weeks without a single match to be played.
