Real Madrid draw PSG, Brugge and Galatasaray in Champions League group Stage

Real Madrid will face PSG, Brugge and Galatasaray in the Group Stage of the 2019-2020 edition of the UEFA Champions League.

This is a fairly decent outcome for Los Blancos considering that they were in the Pot 2. PSG will be tough to beat but Madrid have what it takes to advance to the next round.

Zinedine Zidane’s men will surely try to improve from their disappointing performance in the European competition last season, when they were knocked out by Ajax Amsterdam in the Round of 16 after a disastrous return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It’s fairly obvious that Los Blancos have the potential to win their Group and that is precisely what they should aim for, given that it would likely give them a more manageable opponent for the Round of 16. It will be very important for Madrid to play well at the Bernabeu, given that away matches are always tough in the Champions League.
