Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane talked to the press ahead of the team's visit to Villarreal (Sunday, 21:00 CEST) and was asked about the transfer rumors around the club. Zidane said that "anything can happen" every time he was inquired about rumors, from Navas' potential departure to other signings.

"Anything can happen until the transfer deadline. One big move, two big moves... Anything can happen, but I'm just focused on Sunday's game," said Zidane.

Villarreal will be a tough team to beat at their Estadio de la Cerámica but they're just the first big away challenge Los Blancos will face this September.

"We're facing this game as if it was the most important of the season, just because it's our next game. Villarreal have good players and can make things very difficult to any club. The three points would be important and we want to complete a good performance. We're feeling well and now we want to translate that feeling to a good game," explained the coach.

Real Madrid have suffered many injuries this past month. Zidane isn't too worried.

"I can't be happy if I look at the players who are injured, but these things happen. It happens to every club and doctors and fitness coaches who do their best to recover our players. I hope they're back soon," explained Zidane.

The coach was also asked about the upcoming Champions League Group Stage, which will feature two games against Paris Saint-Germain.

"They're a very competitive team even though they might miss some players. It will be a tough start but a magnificent one for sure," concluded the Frenchman.
