Real Madrid published their squad list for Wednesday’s away friendly against Red Bull Salzburg.

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Courtois, Lunin.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, De la Fuente.

Midfielders: Kroos, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco.

Forwards: Benzema, Lucas Vázquez, Jović, Vinicius Jr., Hazard.

Coach Zinedine Zidane left Gareth Bale, Mariano Diaz and James Rodriguez out of this squad list even though both Casemiro and Militao were included. Modric will also miss the trip with a small muscle issue while Asensio, Mendy and Brahim are still recovering from their injuries as well.

Most fans were expecting to see Zidane giving James minutes after Asensio’s injury and some reporters even said that Real Madrid were going to keep the Colombian midfielder. However, it seems that the French coach just doesn’t want to have James around this season, so he will have to keep searching for a new club, just like Gareth Bale.

Kubo and Rodrygo will also play for Castilla from now on.
