Real Madrid published their squad list for Wednesday's Champions League opener against Paris Saint-Germain. The team is on their way to the French capital and coach Zinedine Zidane will talk in press conference later today.
REAL MADRID'S SQUAD LIST:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Arreola and Altube.
Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Varane, Odriozola, Mendy and De la Fuente.
Midfielders: Kroos, Casemiro and James.
Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Bale, Lucas V, Jović, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.
Neither Ramos nor Nacho are available for this game and that means that Militao will get his first start for the club. Luckily enough for him, not one of PSG's attacking trio of Cavani, Neymar and Mbappe will feature in this game.
This is an important game for both sides because of could very well decide the winner of the Group Stage. However, both PSG and Real Madrid got somewhat lucky with Brugge and Galatasaray being the other two members of this group, so they should advance to the next round in fairly comfortable fashion.
Mendy will start on Real Madrid's left back spot alongside Militao, so the fans will be able to get a first look into two very promising players. Other than that, Hazard, Bale and Benzema should start upfront with Casemiro, Kroos and James Rodríguez in the midfield line.
