The Champions League is back for Real Madrid and it is back with a big clash in Paris against PSG. Needless to say, this should be a very interesting match even without players like Neymar, Mbappe, Cavani, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo or Luka Modric, who will all miss the game.
Los Blancos have completed some decent performances this season but the two straight draws against Valladolid and Villarreal were a bit concerning. Ferland Mendy and Militao will start in Madrid's defensive line and it will be interesting to see what they can do considering how poorly Los Blancos have performed defensively this season.
Luckily enough for Zidane, Hazard, Bale and Benzema seem to be ready to start and help Madrid's offensive system, even more so if James Rodríguez starts as an attacking midfielder.
As always, Real Madrid have the players to control the tempo of the game and dominate. If they do, and considering that Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani won't be around, Madrid's chances of starting the Champions League Group Stage with a win will be increased.
