Sevilla FC attacker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández talked after the UEFA Europa League match against Qarabag, which ended in a 0-3 victory for Sevilla with Hernández scoring the opening goal. The Mexican striker will face Real Madrid this next Sunday for the first time since his loan deal with Los Blancos expired in 2015.
"The match against Real Madrid is a very special game for me but also for everyone in Sevilla, it's a home game. We're playing well in La Liga and we'll have to keep working, but we need to stay calm and also enjoy this win," said Hernández during the post match press conference.
Sevilla are indeed playing very well and currently lead the table in La Liga. Chicharito will not be the only familiar face Los Blancos will see this Sunday as left back Sergio Reguilón and former coach Julen Lopetegui are now in Sevilla.
"We scored good points for the Europa League but we have a game in La Liga coming up and we have to be prepared for it so that we keep fighting," concluded Chicharito.
Real Madrid will try to bounce back from their disappointing 3-0 loss against Paris Saint-Germain and make a statement on their visit to Sevilla.
