Real Madrid visit Sevilla right after losing 3-0 to PSG this past Wednesday and coach Zinedine Zidane will have some tough decisions to make. Will he trust the same core with the addition of Ramos’ return or will he change Real’s formation to improve Madrid’s stability in the midfield?
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, James, Bale, Hazard, Benzema.
Sevilla predicted XI: Vaclik, Navas, Carriço, Reguilon, Fernando, Banega, Jordan, Ocampos, Munir, De Jong.
Zidane will most likely trust the same midfield and hope for a better performance from his players. It’s true that Valverde’s return gives the Frenchman more options but the Uruguayan player might not be ready to play 90 minutes just yet, so it’s likely that he comes off the bench if the team needs his work rate in the midfield line throughout the game.
Lopetegui’s Sevilla will try to control the tempo of the game, so it will be important for Madrid to count on Bale and Hazard to help he midfielders.
